​BorgWarner Diversified Transmission Products - HCRA

Your Health Care Reimbursement Account

As a result of the Plant Shutdown Agreement between BorgWarner Diversified Transmission Products Inc. (BorgWarner DTP) and UAW Local 287, BorgWarner DTP has established the Health Care Reimbursement Arrangement Plan (Plan or HCRA Plan) for the exclusive benefit of certain former employees of BorgWarner DTP.

This Plan is effective May 1, 2009. It replaces all BorgWarner DTP retiree health programs for which individuals covered by this Plan were previously eligible.

Beginning May 1, 2009, BorgWarner will establish a Health Care Reimbursement Arrangement Account (HCRA Account or Account) for each Eligible Participant described below. BorgWarner DTP will credit $10,000 to each HCRA Account one time on May 1, 2009. The HCRA Account may be used to reimburse Eligible Health Care expenses described below.

This website has been prepared to explain the provisions of the HCRA Plan. It cannot include all details of the Plan document or the administration and operation of the Plan. Accordingly, if there is any conflict between this website and the terms of the Plan, the provisions of the actual Plan document will control.
