John J. Gasparovic was named Vice president, General Counsel and Secretary of BorgWarner Inc. in January 2007. He joined BorgWarner from Federal Mogul Corporation where he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Roadway Corporation; and VP and General Counsel of Guardian Industries, Automotive Division. In addition, John has eight years of litigation experience with Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue of Cleveland.

John earned a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University in 1979 and a law degree from Northwestern University in 1982. He is a member of the American, Michigan and Ohio Bar Associations.
