Roger J. Wood
Executive Vice President, BorgWarner Inc.
Group President, Engine

Roger J. Wood is an Executive Vice President of BorgWarner Inc.(February 2009) and Group President and General Manager, Engine Group (January 2010).

Mr. Wood began his career with BorgWarner in 1985 in Manufacturing Engineering at Morse TEC. After a series of appointments through 1995; he was named Vice President of Operations for both the Morse TEC Engine Components Operation and the Transmission Components Operations where he managed the execution of the global strategy in the Engine Timing Systems and Transmission businesses.

In 1999 he assumed the position of Vice President of Business Development for BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems. Mr. Wood was instrumental in restructuring the BorgWarner China joint venture and irefining the international business strategy for BorgWarner's four-wheel and front-wheel drive business.

In 2001 Mr. Wood was appointed President of Morse TEC and in 2005 named President of BorgWarner Turbo & Emissions Systems with responsibilities for the global operations headquartered in Kircheimbolanden, Germany with operations in the USA, the UK, Hungary, Brazil, Japan, China, Korea, and India.

Mr. Wood holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology from State University College at Buffalo New York and a Master's of Business Administration from Syracuse University.

Mr. Wood is a member of the President's Council of the Manufacturer's Alliance/MAPI organization, and is a member on the Board's of Directors for BorgWarner foreign subsidiaries in Germany, Korea, and a joint venture in India.
