labs at both our manufacturing facilities and technical centers to
continually validate superior product quality. For example, the BorgWarner
Inspection Lab located in the Powertrain Technical Center (Auburn Hill,
MI) supports development engineers and product research. The lab’s
capabilities include: Surface Finish and Form Analysis, Roundness Testing,
Optical Comparator, Coordinate Measurement Machine, Vision Coordinate
Measurement Machine, and Gear Analysis. These capabilities are always
being expanded and improved to provide the highest quality and most
informative data possible to everyone at BorgWarner.
