BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join as HR Manager in our Luxembourg Technical Center in Hautcharage, Luxembourg.
The successful candidate will have to lead and develop a team of 4, act as a subject matter expert in HR and help the team to support the continued HR transformation.
As part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team, as well as a very demanding business environment, the successful candidate will work closely with the stakeholders to coordinate, lead and manage various local HR processes for a population of around 400 employees.

Key roles:

  • Partner with leadership in strategic and / or operational decision making by providing a full range of advice on all areas of HR and elevate requests as needed to the Senior Management;
  • Manage employee relations activities diligently, efficiently and confidentially. Provide labor law support and guidance;
  • Coordinate the different activities (training, payroll, cross-border, administration, recruitment, employer branding…) and ensure the highest level of compliance, as well as a legal watch;
  • Be a force of proposition as a subject matter expert to solve problems whilst keeping a pragmatic approach in a fast-changing environment;
  • Structure and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) of the HR activities to monitor, anticipate and drive the change where necessary;
  • Understand the Strategy, share vision, align people to objectives and priorities accordingly;
  • Be actively involved in various projects, process improvement actions, communications, transformation and development plans;
  • Manage ad-hoc questions, policies design and updates, daily HR matters;

Requirements:

  • University degree or an equivalent qualification in HR management, Economics or Business Administration;
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager in Luxembourg in an international organization;
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomous and flexible;
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg labor law, social security and tax aspects;
  • People oriented and solid problem-solving capabilities;
  • Competencies to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships, as well as maintaining a good level of communication at all levels of the company;
  • Strong leadership skills, and ready to lead and develop a team;
  • Committed to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives;
  • Able to work team-oriented and independently;
  • Able to work effectively in complex and changing environments while preserving strong stakeholder relations;
  • Strong work ethics, discretion, and personal and professional integrity;
  • Fluent in English and German and/or French, any additional language is considered as an asset;
  • Proven experience in the industry field is an advantage;
