Global Supply Chain Management Intern

(supplier risk management)

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with ETTS, IT and DBS experts to understand tool needs
  • Drive data integrity to support efficient and effective system implementation
  • Become the owner and expert of this tool (Power BI)
  • Prepare training material and conduct trainings to ensure a flawless launch within DBS.  Answer question, fix user problems, communicate, and solve issues within this Supplier Risk Management Tool
  • Coordinate all data accuracy and integrity deviations with the responsible functions to secure continuous improvement
  • Act as the interface between IT and functional department to identify, address and improve any eventual system issues
  • Collaborate with other Process Owners to fix problems with data source
  • Work hand on hand with our supplier risk management experts to make sure tool meets GSM needs
  • Work with DBS central GSM team to align master data management across all systems
  • Ongoing maintenance and follow ups to keep system up to date

Main requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have problem solving and data management skills
  • Studies at Computer Science or Business field (Marketing, Business Administration)
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new business and technical skills and develop creative approaches to solving difficult problems
  • Ability to work within large teams and communicate effectively
  • Must know Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups)
  • Experience with data manipulation/consolidation
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and English
