At our Propulsion Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI, we are looking to strengthen our team with the addition of a : Human Resources Intern

                                                                                                        

Our Position Summary

This position will support the administration and coordination of HR projects/activities in the Global Transmission Systems group, working with various HR functions and leaders across the business.

Our Key Accountabilities                                                

​• Support TS HR Team with talent sourcing across all functions; including  sourcing candidates through online/university sources and other social media outlets (LinkedIn), conduct phone screens,  scheduling interviews and coordination of candidates. Primary focus will be North America but will include global scope.
• Benchmark HR practices and make recommendations on process improvements (onboarding, new hire orientation, exit process..).
• Assist with learning and development activities, including scheduling of training and ongoing communication with participants and managers, assist with management of the Learning Management System (LMS) locally and globally, help prepare training material, assist with creating e-learning course content.
• Perform data analysis by running reports through our HRIS system on various business metrics (headcount, compensation, turnover, demographics..etc)
• Performs other related responsibilities as assigned or required.

Your Profile
• Undergraduate/Graduate student attending an accredited university with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development and preferably a focus on e-learning design.
• Must be detail oriented
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Highly collaborative and team oriented
• High proficiency in MSOffice
