Chain Parts Process Manufacturing Engineer (Metallurgy)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to support the areas of process development, process implementation, process improvement and cost reductions in chain parts process.

The individual will serve as a technical resource for manufacturing, product engineering, maintenance and quality; and will work within teams to ensure the most effective operation of our processes.

BACKGROUND

University degree in engineering /technical school degree of metallurgy engineering, or working experience with manufacturing engineering is required. Metallurgy engineering degree is preferred.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and establish the process for new chain product
  • Troubleshoot problems encountered in current production processes
  • Generate ideas and complete actions to reduce costs on production.
  • Work on issues to eliminate problems by identifying root cause and provide solutions.
  • Ensure that all processes are well organized.
  • Assist in product launches.
