  • This position encompasses management and technical aspects of IT support which will require a board skillset.
    • The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a liaison between IT and the business.
      The BRM has significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both IT and the business. BRM will be the single point of contact for the Plant Management for all IT related needs.
    • This person will work with both internal or external teams and work cross-functionally between the business and IT to bridge gap between design, content and technology.
    • This person needs to have the ability to gather business requirements and convert them into development specifications.
    • Experience in Automotive company operations, logistics application as well as technical skills to provide guidelines and support of SAP logistics modules
    • Provide continuous improvement coaching for SAP Key Users community
    • Activities include championing the user of common concepts, standards, procedures and best practices within SAP.
    • This role also require planning and leading small to medium IT projects at the Plant level


    • Business requirements gathering and analysis of business issues; leveraging global and regional IT Organization to address these needs
    • Develop relationship with external technology vendors that are specific to the location or business unit
    • Gains understanding of business strategies and develop long-range IT strategies in support of the business unit
    • Act as an internal IT advisor to the business unit or local management team
    • Stand accountable to the business for overall IT delivery (Fulfills the task by coordinating others efforts)
    • Pre-project business solution design, project estimates for cost-benefit analysis
    • Develop business case (ROI) for proposed IT solutions
    • Plan IT budget and monitor IT spend to make sure IT costing effectively and meet Plant and business unit IT target.
    • Work between internal/external IT service provides and the business to develop Service Level Agreement (SLA) negotiations
    • Advice business units on how to maximize their investment in IT and identify opportunities for leverage of IT
    • Work with business to prioritize and sequence projects
    • Communicate and negotiate with business leaders or business process owners on deliverables
    • Establish and enlist local IT governance and steering committees
    • Enlist and secure business resources such as key users and steering committee members for major projects and activities
    • Direct projects towards desired technology strategies and standards
    • Report back to business managers on the status of projects and IT performance (score card)
    • New business initiative analysis and support of merger, acquisition, and divestiture
    • Identify opportunities for business operational efficiency and drive to specific metrics for business cost saving and value creation
    • Provide SAP support and system configuration
    • Key User collaboration and development, conducting regular meetings, trainings, etc.

      EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical degree; advanced degree a plus
    • SAP analytical skills confirmed by working experience, preferred in the Automotive Industry,
      +5 years
    • Strong inter-personal and communication skills, including trainings and presentations
    • Good understanding of Automotive business processes
    • Experience in systems analysis and problem solving
    • Very good English in writing & speaking
    • Project management experience is a plus
    • Strong customer management skills and ability to understand and translate and define complex business requirements
    • Attention to detail and ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
    • Ability of establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; work harmoniously and effectively as part of a team
    • Ability to work directly with middle to senior management as well as employees at all levels throughout the organization
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities
