BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a GSM Coordinator at our SLP Plant in Mexico.

In this role, and under direct supervision of the GSM Manager, the GSM Coordinator will be primarily responsible of monitoring and controling purchasing metrics, give constant maintenance to Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Supplier Contracts and contribute / give the necessary support in the execution and implementation of the department's savings projects according to the Purchasing budget or as required according to the GSM strategy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for consolidating information on purchasing expenses, indicator, financial, metric of the department.
• Administration and maintenance of purchase orders.
• Management of parameters of the company's ERP system in the Purchasing part.
• Creation, execution and monitoring of cost reduction projects according to the annual budget.
• Direct interaction with the tactic (project team) and strategy (Global Commodity Manager, Commodity Manager) of all commodities.
• Participate and obtain approval from the Sourcing Board of the business allocation proposals required in the development of their savings projects or new programs, as necessary.
• Modify commercial conditions of purchase orders and generate the necessary reports in the ERP.
• Contribute to the creation of the annual budget for savings of raw materials or materials / indirect expenses, as required.
• Configuration of suppliers and part numbers in ERP system.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Industrial Engineer, Bachelor of Administration, Commerce, Finance or related career.
• Time of experience in a similar position: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar position in finance or purchasing.
• Technical knowledge required: Financial Analysis, Data Consolidation, Purchasing Process, Change Management, Negotiation, Price and Cost Analysis, Supplier Development.
• Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP, Outlook, Teams, desirable.
