Current Product Engineer Supervisor

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Current Product Engineer Supervisor.


Responsible for leading the CPE team and supporting the products that are in production and built at our Kokomo Manufacturing Facility


  • Lead the Current Product Engineering team
  • Analysis of warranty returns from the dealerships
  • Analysis of Assembly Plant Returns (APR’s) from the vehicle assembly plants
  • Analysis of BorgWarner line pulls
  • Interface with the Vehicle Original Equipment Manufacture’s (OEM’s) on warranty returns and APR’s
  • Interface with BorgWarner Operations and Process engineers on internally generated failures
  • Interface with suppliers on external supplied parts that fail
  • Interface with suppliers on Supplier Change Request (SCR’s)
  • Operate Test Equipment that simulates the vehicle environment


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of Automotive experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
  • Knowledge of Standard Computer Office Applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
