Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for Proto equipment, Tooling and Process development.
  • Make sure the Proto sample meets the specification.
  • Work with cross function team, Lead the Process flow chart, Control Plan, WI.
  • Follow up the Proto development timely, ensure proto development quality and meets program timing.
  • Define the machine FMEA and EHS requirement.
  • Responsible for New Product proto build.
  • Responsible for traceability of the prototype.
  • Responsible for Prototyping issue investigation and problem solving by using proper tool.
  • Join the Product design review and be responsible for Prototype process feasibility study.
  • Own lessons learn list from prototype.
  • Training proto technicians.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above on Mechanical design related major is required
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Proto area of electric motor.
  • Experienced with Hairpin stator proto or mass production equipment, tool and process development.
  • Familiar with PMSM rotor final assembly proto build.
  • Have know-how at Wire forming, twisting, welding, varnish process.
  • PMSM motor theory related knowledge background and experience are required.
  • Experience with quality improvement/problem solving of prototyping.
  • Good documentation and communication skill, skilled on process flow chart, Control plan and WI.
  • Good written and spoken English.
