Shipping /Receiving Clerk (Non-Exempt)




  • Responsible for all domestic and international shipments.
  • Packaging orders for shipments
  • Organization and maintenance of shipping & receiving area
  • Effectively use shipping and receiving computer software
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude


  • Review incoming material against supplier packing lists and Purchase Orders for accuracy
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Regularly review packaging material and fill material requisitions.
  • Report discrepancies between supplier packing lists and Purchase order to Buyer
  • Move materials from storage areas and deliver to designated departments as needed.
  • Capable of operating a forklift
  • Participate in physical inventory cycle counts.
  • Able to positively relate and interact with co-workers
  • Able to be at work – regular attendance.
  • Able to work a Full time
  • Able to work at the business location.
  • Positive attitude and can-do mentality


  • Maintain neat, clean work area.
  • Wearing and maintaining appropriate PPE and ESD equipment in defined areas.
  • Communicating stockroom and warehouse safety issues.


  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid Organizational Skills
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Basic Level Computer/Data Entry Skills


  • Can halt production if a quality or safety problem is identified.


  • Reports to the Office Manager


  • Experience in Shipping, receiving and general warehouse work.
  • Experience using Forklift in a warehouse, and other material handling tools
  • Experience using computerized shipping and receiving software


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Good verbal, written and mathematical skills.
  • Obtain forklift certification within 90 days
