Production Control and Logistics Manager

Location: Błonie

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Leading & Adapting the organization, people selection, development , training and coaching
  • Responsible for plant production, financial performance, and maintaining the orderly and efficient operation of production activities.
  • Assist with developing annual budgets and preparing a forecast for capital expenditure proposals as required.
  • Adapting the organization resources and priorities to achieve the performance and capability metric expectations.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications meeting quality and delivery expectations. Minimize costs where possible and ensure the required best work practices are maintained at all times.
  • Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, and work procedures considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
  • Monitoring & continuous improvement to ensure focused and step change improvements in performance.
  • Oversee ERP Systems for customer orders, material ordering, scheduling, warehousing, and shipping.
  • Responsible for inventory optimization to support business.
  • Create manufacturing schedules to ensure on time delivery to customers.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization.
  • Monitor and manage the completion of production projects as required.
  • Review production orders and ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis and update the production plan daily. Prepare reports using production data and create presentations for management and other stakeholders.
  • Approve expenditures as required for supplies, materials, or human resources ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experiences in high volume automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in leading and managing a multi discipline team.
  • Working knowledge of Production Control and Logistic manufacturing requirements .
  • Excellent English verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to operate, make decisions, lead and make forward progress in fast moving environments.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to lead and support teams.
  • Must be highly flexible regarding work schedule and responsibilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
