KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact with customer regarding complaints and guarantees, answering further questions for problem solving / interface to internal and external manufacturers, engineering and customers.
  • Provide technical analysis reports to customer and informing internal departments of the decisions, advising for further actions and technical support. 
  • Supports Customers, Sales Managers and Customer Service for all technical questions and assistance related to the products.
  • Creating and providing technical trainings to customer including failure diagnosis and identification how fake products can be identified.
  • Responsible for validation and qualification by using PPAP methodology of new products, relocation and product changes.
  • Collaborate Engineering departments, testing, systems and electrical design engineers to define DVP for technical release.
  • Complete DVP documentation and review supplier PPAP documentation.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, internal combustion engine or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in application engineering of related products or internal combustion engine development.
  • Funcional/Technical skills with the ability to explain to others in a transparent manner.
  • Experience of working within dynamic and change-oriented teams.
  • Good communication skills of written and spoken English, German nice to have.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office products (Ms Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel 20% of time - required.
  • Personal competences like: Action oriented, Customer focus, Being problem solving person, Timely decision making, Striving for results, with empathetic sense at the same time, Being ethics & values person.
