  • Work with customers by providing technical, design and product application guidance to meet customer needs.
  • Work with the BorgWarner engineering team to ensure the proper decomposition, allocation and documentation of controls requirements into hardware and software
  • Get and provide required global supports.
  • Regularly interfaces with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality & Test Engineers and Program Management to address all aspects of product design and function and insure customer satisfaction with BW products and services.
  • Functions as primary liaison between customer and all company activities.
  • Issues and follows through on appropriate internal documentation to provide full engineering to customer for product sale and service.
  • Follows customer requirements based on PowerDrive Systems PDP procedure
  • Maintains application engineering evidence data
  • Troubleshoot problems encountered in current processes.
  • Work on issues to eliminate problems by identifying root cause and provide solutions.
  • Assist in product launches.
  • Work with Engineering team to investigate vehicle systems controls issues
  • Willingness/ability to travel 20% both domestically and internationally


  • Bachelor's Degree (±16 years) in electrical engineering related is required.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in developing powertrain related automotive products
  • Experience in design, development and release of new products
  • Overall understanding of gasoline and/or diesel engine system
  • Components and machining design, and manufacturing requirements
  • Good understanding of the TS16949 quality systems.
  • Preference to applicant with experience in the below
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office products.
