POSITION SUMMARY – Compensation & Mobility Intern

Performs and coordinates a variety of activities within the Compensation and Mobility function within the corporate Human Resources team within established policies and procedures at the BorgWarner Inc. World Headquarters.  The position will be a key resource in support of both administration and project-based work within the Compensation and Mobility team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support compensation function with administration of compensation structures, annual processes (e.g., merit, bonus, LTI), daily administration of compensation tools, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support mobility area with international assignment management, including mobility vendors, invoice processing, and launch of international assignments. In addition, support maintenance of vehicle programs.
  • It is expected that the incumbent will develop expertise with the technological systems used by compensation and mobility and act as the primary resource for administration of those systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE                                

  • Undergraduate student attending an accredited university with major emphasis in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Desire to work in a large global organization
  • Experience working with multi-cultural project teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills
