BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Korea Sales account manager located in Seoul/Korea.

 

In this role, and under direct supervision of the regional sales manager, the Korea sales account manager will be primarily responsible for awarding new business from Korea OEM by introducing BW PDS company and its products. After award of new businesses, the account manager is required to coordinate development of the awarded products between the Korea OEM and BW PDS Changnyeong and sales until successful launching. After business launch, he/she is responsible for the coordination of engineering changes and quality issues on going.

  • Builds good relationships and intimacy with customers
  • New business win focused on electrification vehicles
  • Prepares regular reports on market trends, consumer habits and competitive activities.
  • Building Sales strategy in collaboration with Engineering groups
  • Takes ownership of total customer satisfaction
  • Achieves annual tasks and performance
  • Dedicate plants margin improvement
  • Functions as BorgWarner’s primary liaison to customers

[Education / Experience]

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Engineering education background (not necessary)
  • +7 years of Sales experience as Tier-1 suppliers in automotive industry
  • Knowledge of customers process including program launching, costing and pricing
  • Competent in negotiating skills and assessing customers
  • Good at Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Capable of working with multi-national teams within BorgWarner global group
  • Good inter-personal skills
