BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Administrative Assistant (Contract) at our Indiana Technical Center (ITC) in Kokomo, Indiana.

Job Duties:

  • Provide the following assistance to Director level employees as needed
    • Travel arrangements
    • Process Expense Reports
    • Scheduling Meetings using Outlook calendar
    • Coordinate customer meetings
      • Meeting customer in lobby and escort to meeting room
      • Food and drink ordering from outside restaurants for meetings held
      • Arrange business dinners as requested
      • Coordinate presenters on the agenda
      • Send directions to our site, parking instructions, and security instructions to customer prior to meeting
  • Maintain Organizational Charts, Conference Room Schedules, employee Seating Chart and File Cabinet List(s)
  • Distribute electronic communications to the site as directed
  • Maintain and update Badge Request form
  • Process material card order requests and submit applicable monthly expense reports
  • Assist Engineering personnel with Shipping and receiving needs
  • Order all office supplies for wing and stock necessary supply cabinets
  • Maintain printers in office area
  • Make name plates for new employees
  • Distribute incoming mail in office area
  • Provide assistance to engineers regarding passport renewals and visa applications
  • Point of contact to send NDA’s to Vice President for his signature
  • Assist with special projects as needed


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous scheduling, coordinating, secretarial, or administrative experience; Will consider someone with undergraduate degree in lieu of direct industry experience related to a sales, hospitality, business, or similar field
  • Self-motivated, willing to take initiative, and not require direct supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Concur, Outlook

This position will adhere to the Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual.  This individual will work in a manner that stresses the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses.  He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and co-workers.  In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to their immediate supervisor.
