The Assistant Manager - Customer Quality is responsible for the to Implement, support, customer quality performance to ensure flawless launches of new programs. Responsibilities will include leading APQP process as part of new product launches, coordinate technical reviews, and co-ordinate customer needs to meet BW requirements.

  • Handling Customer complaints including warranty issues.
  • Meeting the Customer specific requirements of all  customers..
  • Handling various customer audits like system audits, and PPAP / localization audits ..
  • Drive internal team to meet the customer expectations on quality to aim for zero defects at customer end.
  • Drive internal team for 8D / CAPA on the reported customer incidents Interface between customers and internal team to identify the opportunity for improvements.
  • Work with customers and identify the opportunities for improvement in the process.
  • Work with customers for 4m change, PPAP requirements and submit the required documents.
  • Should have experience in Customers handling, Process and Quality Audit.
  • Knowledge on 8D problem solving process including  deployment of QC tools.
  • Process knowledge on forging [Hot, Warm, Cold], plastic injection moulding, machining, stamping and heat treatment processes is a added advantage

Ability to influence and convince vendor and their staff for improvement
