  • Drives root-cause analysis on NVH defects and abnormal patterns
  • Defines and validates design countermeasures together with CAE, ETC and Global product owners.

Customer Interface

  • Acts as plant technical interface to Customers on NVH product topics.
  • Prepares and delivers technical content for customer reviews, task forces and audits.
  • Translates customer NVH requirements into product validation and EOL acceptance criteria.

Cross-functional Alignment

  • Aligns daily with the NVH Testing Coordinator on test execution, retest decisions and data interpretation.
  • Drives design / process change requests through Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality.

Validation & Launch

  • Owns NVH validation activities for design changes (DV, PV, MR, PPAP) on the assigned programme.
  • Supports launch readiness and SOP gates from an NVH product perspective.
  • Drives lessons learned across HRAM, DL and AL programmes.

  • Contributes to DFMEA / PFMEA NVH content.
  • Mentors NVH Product Technicians on root-cause and validation work.

Requirements & Competencies

Education & Experience

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in NVH on automotive e-Drive, transmission or powertrain products.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers on NVH topics is a strong advantage.

Technical Profile

  • Strong NVH fundamentals — order analysis, modal behaviour, gear and electric machine NVH, structure-borne vs. air-borne paths.
  • Hands-on experience with EOL NVH measurement chain and post-processing tools (Discom, ARTeMiS or similar).
  • Solid grasp of MSA, statistical methods and spectrum interpretation.
  • Knowledge of CAE/CAA tools and ability to engage with simulation teams (CAE / ETC).
  • Familiarity with FMEA methodology (AIAG/VDA).

Leadership & Behavioral Skills

  • Technical authority — able to defend product NVH positions internally and with customers.
  • Structured, fact-based problem solving under launch / crisis pressure.
  • Strong communication skills — technical, managerial and customer-facing.
  • Fluency in English mandatory; Portuguese strongly preferred.
