- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of personnel.
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing controls team that meets agreed objectives.
- Responsible for the implementation and use of a continuous Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
- Responsible for the development of controls staff through training, response time and implementation of value added SAP PM, Plant Uptime / Equipment Availability as well as robust countermeasures on critical equipment downtime issues.
- Ensure that KPIs meet annual targets (MTTR/MTBF/%PM).
- Assist in the process of introducing new machinery, plant and equipment from specification development in collaboration with Advance Manufacturing.
- Develop a planned preventive program, ensure that a complete preventive is carried out and plan for missed checks activities.
- Prepare annual budget and forecasts.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of a maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures based on best practices to assist and improve operational performance.
- Manage the technical best practice team through the implementation of SWI.
