Advanced Quality Engineer (Turbo Systems)

Key responsibilities:

  • Being a BorgWarner representative during the meeting with customers and suppliers,
  • Performing evaluation of products to assess its compatibility with client’s and BorgWarner requirements,
  • Managing of Product quality control process,
  • Developing and maintaining product documentation, including reports for customer,
  • Implementing of client’s specific requirements at suppliers location,
  • Supervision of special characteristics.

Requirements and skills:

  • Higher technical education – specialty of Mechanics, Quality Management, Electronics, Robotics, Metrology or comparable,
  • Experience in:

                                        - advanced quality planning (APQP),

                                        - control and measurement equipment together with measuring techniques,

                                        - usage of techniques to analyze cause of defects/nonconformities,

                                        - usage of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles,

                                        - machining and assembly processes.

  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Knowledge of PPAP requirements and problem solving methods,
  • Fluent in English language,
  • Working level of German language would be beneficial,
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 norms,
  • Experience in suppliers development,
  • Working knowledge in MS Office products and SAP environment,
  • Knowledge of specific OEM client’s requirements would be advantageous,
  • Availability for business trips.
