  • Ensure the implementation of all company policies and regulations including position relevant responsibilities in the Safety Responsibility System of the company within the team;
  • Safety management: conduct regular safety inspection and safety hazard inspection, report and solve related problems, write safety report according to the company's safety management regulations; supervise and inspect the usage of labor protection articles within the responsible production area; participate in the safety operation design of new equipment, and organize relevant personnel to provide a safe, reliable, and easy-to-operate working environment for operators;
  • Process and equipment management: supervise the implementation and effectiveness of process and equipment inspection in the responsible production area, and timely solve or report abnormal problems to the product line manager; supervise and promote the implementation of first-level equipment maintenance plan in the responsible production area, support the ME department to complete the 2nd and 3rd level equipment maintenance and timely feedback the problems to product line manager and ME department;
  • Quality management: implement layer audit in the responsible production area (such as inspection records, layer audit records, etc.) as required; organize and coordinate internal and external audits to find problems in the responsible production area and organize the measure creation and convert the key points of the action plan to the regular inspection items; inform ME engineer or quality engineer to modify the non-compliant inspection items, control plans, and non-conformities in checklist that are feedbacked by the shift leaders; summarize and organize the cleanup of the defective products in the responsible production area; respond quickly to customer claims (formal or informal, etc.), and support quality engineer to find the root cause, create action plan, follow up the implementation and participate in the preparation of A3 or 8D reports;
  • Quality system management: According to the quality system requirements (such as TS16949, etc.), be responsible for the promotion and implementation of the production system within the responsible production area;
  • Ensure production delivery: Be responsible for the implementation of the production plan in the responsible production area, supervise shift leader to complete the staffing and related pre-production preparation before production, such as check the completeness of the operation instructions, the production tooling of new product, production line change over, etc.; supervise the standardization of shifts during production process to ensure the completion of production tasks through inspection or other management methods;
  • Data statistics, analysis and improvement: collect, statistic and analyze relevant production reports and forms (such as daily production reports, shift handover records, GP12 job records, etc.) to provide cross-department engineers data support for problem solving; identify production improvement plan and follow up the implementation with cross-department engineers;
  • Participation of new projects and renovation projects: participate in the preparation and tracking of new product/project/prototype according to production plan;
  • Cost management and optimization: be responsible for the materials management in the responsible production area to ensure the material quantity is consistent with the number in SAP systems or within a reasonable tolerance, and cooperate with the logistics department to analyze the inventory differences; be responsible for the MRO cost optimization and improvement in the responsible production area; be responsible for the production efficiency of personnel (such as total working hours, overtime rate, number of staffing, etc.), the improvement of production targets and production efficiency targets in the responsible production area;
  • Standardization management: set standard work instruction and production area management process documents;
  • Continuous improvement: Carry out 5S management, equipment and quality self-maintenance and continuous improvement activities according to the requirements of production management to ensure that more than 60% of the daily work is involved in the management and inspection of the production site, support the shift leader and relevant cross-departmental engineers; assist product line manager track and advance various issues (mainly focusing on site management) in the responsible production area to develop medium- and long-term improvement plans;
  • Personnel management: supervise the daily shifts assessment, such as attendance, discipline execution and targets related with safety, quality, delivery and cost, etc., and assist functional departments to provide performance data of the engineers who support production; plan shift leader and operators’ training, organize and supervise the training plan completion; check the employee's work observation and evaluation;
  • Meeting organization and participation: organize daily level 1 workshop management meetings, and participate in the daily level 2 workshop management meeting;
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor
