 As a key role of product development team, Design Engineer works with Control Products Engineer and testing engineer closely to be responsible for hydraulic control module and solenoid products design.
 Work by following Borgwarner PDP.
 Design Engineer works with Control Products Engineer and testing engineer closely for testers and fixtures design.

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for all design related items for entire project, including mechanical components, hydraulic parts, testing fixtures, etc. to meet both BW and customer specification.
  • Being responsible for proper material and tolerance analysis, stack up calculation & selection in accordance of product needs.
  • Being responsible for all relative drawings release.
  • Preparing and maintain part lists, drawings and other engineering documentations suck like product introduction, explode picture, etc.
  • Working closely with Controls Products Engineer, suppliers, customers, BW China plants and global strength to accomplish competitive designs
  • Working closely with Controls Products Engineer for the open issue analysis and proposal generation.
  • Preparation of product detail related presentation materials

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical & Hydraulic in Automotive (required)
  • Design experience for at least 5 working years in Transmission or Hydraulic system (required)
  • Good at communication and self-learning
  • Be interesting in the design activities (required)
  • Very good at Catia V5, GD&T, etc. (required)
  • MS Office (required)
  • Language skills: English (required)
  • Transmission Hydraulic control system knowledge (preferred)
