This position will report to: Production Supervisor

Position Requirements:

  • Perform Set Up Validation ensuring Bonder is set-up correctly for production run.
  • Make sure that the Bonder is clean of debris.
  • Load components into feeder magazine and ensure the magazine is always replenished for production run.
  • Understand the function of the bonding operation
  • Perform WinSPC checks and place entries into the computer system
  • Inspect parts for any deformities with the part.  Separate all questionable material and place this material in the scrap container or DMR as appropriate.
  • Report any quality issues to the Team Leader or their designate.
  • Comply with process standards.
  • Maintain required production and scrap records. Report any production inefficiencies to the team leader or Supervisor.
  • Identify and investigate unusual problems and determine nature of part defect. Report any issues to technician or team lead to have issues corrected.
  • Identify interruptions in machine, clear faults, and restart machine as needed
  • Shrink wrap and pack completed friction plates as specified, noting clock # on each stack
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Act and perform duties in a manner that is conducive to a professional, productive and team-oriented environment
  • Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Degree Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Internal Candidates: Eligibility to Bid

•     Employees with less than one year of service are only eligible to bid on higher paying labor grade positions.

•     Employees with more than one year of service will receive first consideration. 

•     Employees in a Disciplinary Step 1 are eligible to bid on any job.

•     Employees in Step 2 are eligible to bid on any job after 1 year.

•     Employees in Step 3 are eligible to bid on any job after 1 year.

•     If an employee accepted a new position, they cannot bid on the same or lower paying labor grade for 1 year.

•     If you were previously forced out of this job classification and are interested in returning to the position, you must complete a job bidding form.

•     This Position requires that you be able to Read and Write English;

•     Applicants must meet all criteria in the job bidding process

•     Employees who have been interviewed within 6 months for the SAME exact position may not be re-interview.

•     Employees wishing to apply for LG 6 or below positions will be considered if they have a Wonderlic® Score of 16 or higher and a Wiesen score of 40 or higher.
