To support our team located in Bascharage, Luxembourg we are currently looking for:

System Excellence Engineer for
Power Electronics Inverter

Main Duties and Responsibilities: The System Excellence Engineer is the source of engineering development planning, guidance of the engineering team and reporting to leadership on the practice of project management and execution for power electronics inverter. Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development team working on projects involving multiple locations.

Specific description:

  • Update and maintain Project Execution Plan with support of team members and leadership team. Define project stages, milestone, estimate resource and guide the team to deliver in time the customer expectations

  • Define metrics to monitor the project progress and compare to the plan.

  • Identify gap between planned progress and actual progress and offer resolution plans

  • Report project status to leadership team

  • Identify opportunities to reduce risk, save time and cost.

  • Manage communication of planning and progress status with internal team and leadership team. Project coordination by aligning the team on latest plan, collecting the team feed-back and update plan.

  • Be an actor of the continuous improvement of method, tool and process

  • Contribute to a team-work focused approach and provide guidance to select the best solutions and make it a reality.

  • Manage these above activities under A-SPICE process and innovative technological product.

  • Manage these above activities in Polarion and JIRA tools.

Essential requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering Bac +5 / Masters. Electronic or Software education is a benefit.

  • Understanding of vehicle inverter and e-Machine systems

  • Work in a diversified team, where strong cross-team and cross-domain communication skills are keys

  • Experience in project planning and software development for embedded electronic systems

  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Polarion, Gantchart in Excel or Microsoft project

  • Experience in project reporting to leadership team. Good communication skills

  • Big picture thinker with an eye for details

  • Fluency in English is required. German/French would be an advantage
