BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Intern at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Currently, BW PDS Viana is launching a new product into the market related with Electric cars. Due to the fact that both plant and product are new, it is expected a high rate of failures that will be unkwnown to the company. The purpose of the project will be to develop more tools and ways to use Test bench from Product & Failure Engineer. this will require as well investigation of root cause together with the team and support on implementation of corrective actions. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Development of a test bench together with Product&Failure Engineer to support our internal investigation.

  • Overview of most impacting failures from the company, both in terms of Customer impact, Cost,level of severity.

Education & Experience :

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical or similar

  • English skills

  • Communicative

  • Ability to work in a team
