JOB PURPOSE: Provide services to improve the efficiency of production operations. This service will be in the form of tool/controls design, project assignments, and efficiency studies of production processes. Position Requirements:

  • Assist departments by drawing/designing details in AutoCAD.
  • Develop and/or modify electrical controls and software in relation to safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
  • Assist departments with process, production, and quality problems and recommend solutions.
  • Assist departments by analyzing production processes and identifying specific areas needing improvement.
  • Work on assigned projects and take lead to achieve project goals.
  • Assist team with writing/updating process flow layouts, Process Failure Mode Engineering Analysis, Control Plans, and Operator Instructions.

 EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: 1 year schooling required toward a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing/Engineering/Industrial Technology. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or programming languages preferred. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Must work well with others. Good organizational skills required.

REMARKS OR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be aggressive, innovative, and respond to direction from peers and managers. Must maintain confidentiality as required.
