DUTIES: Work with a cross-disciplinary and cross-functional Team to develop requirements, definitions, and algorithms for Electrified Powertrain and Power Electronics Software. Be the Feature/ System/ Solution Owner for Electrified Powertrain and Power Electronics modules, leveraging system requirements & design development experience. Be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing Algorithms, supporting data acquisition on benches/vehicles, analyzing data, and applying data analysis results back into the module for algorithm improvement, robustness, and calibration. Apply Electrified Powertrain Systems knowledge to accelerate the development of algorithms, while bringing out-of-box thinking to the Team. Work with the project teams to meet delivery schedules. Interface and co-ordinate with Software, Systems and IT&V engineering to support development and debugging for the owned modules. Contribute to the overall department scope definition and objectives and define the content and priorities of system tasks using a formal task management tool. Participate in design reviews with internal cross-functional engineering group, suppliers, and customers.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering and 48 months of experience in job offered or related.

4 years of experience with automotive systems, software; 4 years of experience with vehicle powertrain systems and functions; 4 years of experience with software, modelling / Autocoding and simulation tools such as Visio, Matlab / Simulink, and ability to read and understand C & C++ code; 4 years of experience with instrumentation solutions such as ETAS-INCA; 4 years of experience with automotive systems and software development using the V-Model for both design and verification/validation activities on Electrified Powertrain systems; 4 years of experience with CAN and/or LIN communication protocols, and tools like Vector CANalyzer, CAN db++.

International and domestic travel required, as needed, up to 10%.
