We are looking for an Account Manager who will support our Sales Team in Turin, Italy to maintain and grow our business and client relationships.

Main responsibilities:
  • The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing the business as well as building dependable relationships customer contacts that are key for decision making and influencing according BorgWarners needs
  • The Account Manager is responsible for the daily maintenance of the Account, works with Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to create and implement strategies for maximizing current business and obtaining new business at the assigned OEM(s)
  • Negotiates product pricing and commercial recovery strategies for all commercially related events ensuring a favorable outcome for BorgWarner
  • Develops sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitors market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments
  • Provides global coordination on customer issues where required
  • Complies with contract review procedures and BW commercial policies
  • Develops (with input from cross-functional teams) and deploys comprehensive customer strategies that improve the profitability and growth.
  • Articulates a clear understanding of our market share, competitive position, and profitability in the assigned account
  • The Account Manager utilizes company procedures/tools (SIMS, OCI 2.0, …) and take ownership of monitoring our performance on key supplier metrics and pursuing corrective action plans as appropriate
  • The Account Manager prepares and shares on a regular base all the requested reporting material

Required Profile:

  • Bachelor degree in a technical and/or economics field
  • Master degree will be considered as a plus
  • Experience with and understanding of powertrain or cooling systems and components
  • Proactive personal attitude to work independently and bring assigned tasks to final achievements
  • Strong negotiation skills and communication skills including the ability to present to customers
  • Fluent in English spoken and written
  • Skilled in MS Office
