Driving Sustainable Innovation: BorgWarner at the ET Auto Tech Summit 2025
BorgWarner recently participated in the 6th edition of the ET Auto Tech Summit 2025, where our IPEC Head Dwarka Simili shared insights into BorgWarner’s latest innovations in electric vehicle (EV) powertrain systems.
Speaking with Apoorva Shukla, he highlighted the company’s strategic focus on electric propulsion technologies, including power inverters, electric machines, and integrated drive units designed for both commercial and passenger vehicles.
He also mentioned that BorgWarner is actively developing alternatives to rare-earth permanent magnet machines, which directly support sustainability goals while maintaining high performance and reliability. Moreover, working with silicon and silicon carbide devices in inverter technology is also helping us push the boundaries of efficiency and durability in EV systems.”
