Congratulations to Liam on His First Half Marathon – All in Support of Macmillan
We’re proud to celebrate the incredible effort and determination shown by our colleague Liam, who completed the Leeds Half Marathon on Sunday 11th May 2025 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Taking on his first ever long-distance running event, Liam crossed the finish line with a time of 2 hours and 14 minutes – an achievement made even more meaningful by the cause behind it. Liam chose to run in honour of Macmillan and the vital support they gave to his dad and family during a difficult time.
“This was a fantastic way for me to give back and say thank you to Macmillan for everything they did for us,” said Liam. “The run was tough, but knowing why I was doing it kept me going.”
Liam’s fundraising efforts were met with an inspiring wave of generosity. With support from friends, family, and colleagues, he raised an impressive amount – and we were proud to support him further by matching the total through our Corporate Social Responsibility committee.
From providing a branded running top to helping boost his fundraising total, we’re honoured to have played a small part in supporting Liam’s challenge for such an important cause.
Congratulations again, Liam – your determination and compassion inspire us all.
