Swiss National Future Day 2024

On Thursday, November 14, BorgWarner Engineering Services Switzerland once again participated in the official Swiss Future Day.

The aim of Future Day is to promote gender equality in career choices. Girls and boys change sides and get to know fields of work that are atypical for their gender.

We welcomed four girls and four boys aged between 11 and 13 to give them an insight into the world of electronics and programming.

We organized several workshops for them in our lab. They built and soldered a kit that they later learned to program, and they wound a small electric motor kit that gave them an idea of how an electric motor works.
