About Us - Power Drive Systems

When we launched the BorgWarner Technical Center in Kraków in 2022, we wanted to create a space where engineers could collaborate, grow, and contribute to something meaningful. Looking at what we’ve accomplished so far, we’re proud of how far we’ve come.

We focus on developing key technologies for electric vehicles including on-board chargers, DC/DC converters, battery management systems, traction inverters, and complete e-drive systems. Due to complexity of these systems we operate high- and low-voltage labs and mechanical testing facilities, enabling us to validate every detail and deliver robust, reliable solutions.

Behind everything we achieve here stands a team driven by curiosity and ambition.  Whether they bring decades of expertise or are just beginning their careers, our engineers share a common mindset: a passion for learning and forward thinking. Working closely with our colleagues at the production plant in Błonie gives us the rare opportunity to follow our work from concept through to production. That connection between development and manufacturing is something we value deeply.

We take responsibility for shaping the next generation of engineers. Through our internships, we create a welcoming environment where young engineers can grow and develop into confident professionals. What matters most to us are curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
