Logistics Specialist Customs & Transports supports our organization in:

 

Duties:

 

 1. Control of customs and foreign trade processes (knowledge of laws, regulations and preparation of accompanying documents).

2. Ability to create export declarations and certificates of origin.

3. Knowledge of customs procedures.

4. Ability to complete customs declarations and create applications for correction of the customs declaration.

5. Ensuring compliance of documents with import regulations at the international level.

6. Building strong relationships with carriers and interacting regularly with customs and government personnel.

7. Tracking shipments during transport, solving current problems.

8. Assistance in the development and implementation of procedures required to standardize the import and export process for BorgWarner, based on compliance with customs legislation.

9. Verification of freight invoices and messages

10. Support and proposing solutions during internal audits.

 

Requirements:

 

1. Customs agent license (required).

2. Higher education in the field of logistics, international trade, law, administration or related.

3. Very good knowledge of English (minimum B2).

4. Work experience in the field of logistics, import/export, at least 5 years.

5. Very good knowledge of the MS Office package (knowledge of the SAP system is welcome).

6. High focus on understanding and compliance with applicable customs law.

7. Multitasking, meticulousness, determination in pursuing tasks, communicativeness, ability to work under time pressure.
