BorgWarner Receives 2014 Certificates of Achievement Awards for Quality Performance From Toyota

BorgWarner’s Facilities in Bellwood and Frankfort, Illinois, Recognized for Superior Performance and Zero Defects

Auburn Hills, Michigan, May 20, 2015 – BorgWarner’s facilities in Bellwood and Frankfort, Illinois, received 2014 Certificates of Achievement from Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. for Quality Performance. This Achievement Award recognizes suppliers that maintain less than 15 defects per million parts (PPMs). Both facilities achieved 100% quality ratings and 0 PPMs in 2014. This is the second consecutive year the Frankfort facility has received this award. The Certificates of Achievement recognize manufacturing facilities for achieving and maintaining superior performance standards based on the highest standards of quality.

In Bellwood and Frankfort, BorgWarner employees produce one-way clutch assemblies and friction plate components for various Toyota passenger cars and pickup trucks.
