Job purpose

We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team and provide invaluable support to our DEI, Employee Engagement, and Employee Communications Team. As an HR Intern, your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in executing various HR initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in Employee Engagement, DEI, Communication, and more.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support for various DEI initiatives
  • Design and create templates and communications
  • Perform other HR related responsibilities as assigned
  • Researching and benchmarking best practices

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program. 
  • Available to work in Summer 2024
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 
  • Creative and proactive mindset with a willingness to learn. 
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Safety

This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner PTC Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
