POSITION SUMMARY:

Analytical position in the department offering a high level of exposure to critical business systems and processes in the finance department.  The ideal candidate is a hungry self-starter who seeks out opportunities to leverage their talents to drive departmental and plant results.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Supports the department as a reporting analyst for BU, HQ requests. This will expose the analyst to many types of standard financial analysis that is used for financial comparatives, and the logic behind each.  This knowledge of the types of analytical comparatives is critical to an analyst’s success as they progress in their career.
  • Will be trained and have an extensive knowledge of the business systems used by the finance department, such as SAP, HFM, RSM, Qlik, the internal controls framework and supporting application.
  • Will support legal entity requests, IRS tax HFM reconciliations, and annual tax schedules
  • Will support accounting in accounts receivable overflow, month end support, revenue recognition, lease accounting, and segment P&L reporting
  • Handles various closing responsibilities such as account reconciliations and journal entry.
  • Performs other routine duties and ad hoc reports with analysis would be required as directed by the Finance Manager.
  • The Analyst is also expected to embrace the thought process of continuous improvement and make contributions towards implementing changes in our systems and processes to increase productivity.
  • Serves as an internal source of financial information necessary to run the business and builds credibility with our internal customers. 
  • Provides information and solutions for existing problems to others.

  • Supports the role accounting/finance plays in the overall success of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • HFM and SAP experience highly preferred.
  • Prefer 1-3 years related work experience in Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
  • Must have the ability to process significant amounts of data entry in a timely and accurately manner.
