Maintenance Manager (Emissions, Thermal & Turbo Systems)

Maintenance Manager is responsible for the general oversight of the maintenance and fixed asset operations of the ETTS Plant (machines, tooling, etc.). The goal is to lead, support and mentor the team, making certain that they are working in a safe, standard and efficient manner in order to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage facilities & maintenance operations to achieve KPI targets while supervising the respective teams
  • Drive competence development and skillset in the department according to the business needs
  • Partner closely with other teams (Production, HR, Finance, Manufacturing Engineering) on staffing plans, schedules and performance levels
  • Work in partnership with the site management team to identify, resolve and communicate issues impacting Production, Health & Safety, Risk Management and future opportunities
  • Supervision and management of inspections, maintenance installations, equipment and technical systems on the production shop floor.
  • Manage all maintenance and facilities activities on site, including contractors
  • Apply the principles of TPM to ensure maximum efficiency of machines and devices
  • Create schedules and ensure the timely performance of maintenance, inspections and repairs of machines and devices
  • Cooperate with other departments in the analysis and diagnosis of production problems
  • Responsibility for the technical documentation of machines and devices
  • Budget supervision, cost optimization, planning of purchases of fixed assets, tools, spare parts and technical materials
  • Supervise the correctness of the management of the spar parts warehouse in terms of quality and value
  • Cooperate with suppliers of parts and external services
  • Train and supervise manage human resources of the maintenance department

Key Required Skills:

  • Engineering qualification (Mechanical / Electrical)
  • +5 years of experience in facility, engineering and maintenance management, including management of technical team
  • Proven ability to work in partnership with management & leadership teams
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings / layouts and contribute to discussions around site development and changes
  • Project management experience as an advantage
  • Experience in working within international environment
  • Business level of Polish and English language skills
  • Ability to work in a team and under time pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities
