In this role, you will be part of development projects of battery systems for our clients. As systems engineer you will be responsible for the technical coordination of the system development process covering management of external stakeholders to ensure that internal development stakeholders are aligned on requirements and system architecture along the development process.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing concepts and solution approaches in pre-development projects
  • Creating software tests for HIL systems and initial sample hardware
  • Adaptation of series software to test requirements.
  • Programming hardware-related software components (UART, I2C, SPI) in C
  • You develop automated tests and supervise test setups with expertise.
  • Close cooperation with the HW colleagues and the development engineers of the adjacent departments

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or microsystems technology
  • At least 3 years of experience in in this area of responsibility
  • Very good knowledge of programming with C/C# on microcontroller systems
  • Manual skills and pragmatic/creativ approach to solutions
  • Experience in a lab environment with electrical circuits preferred.
  • Familiarity with the CAN protocol is desirable.
  • Independent, responsible and quality-conscious working style
  • Work in a diversified team, where strong cross-team and cross-domain communication skills are key.
  • Fluency in English and German is required
